(Shaykh) Owais Tilly, born and raised in Toronto, studied under qualified scholars both locally and internationally. He is a graduate of higher Islamic studies from Dār al-Ulūm al-‘Arabiyyah al-Islāmiyyah in Cape Town, South Africa. Upon graduation he has served as an Imam and lecturer in the Greater Toronto Area. At present he is serving as an Imam in Jami Omar Mosque in Ottawa.
